about Billy-Joe


Billy-Joe has a Bachelor of Business degree, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Registered Company Auditor.

Billy-Joe has over seven years of experience in public practice, starting out with Ernst and Young in their Darwin offices. Some of the bigger clients he worked on include Henry Walker Eltin, Kardu Numida Inc and the Territory Insurance Office, on behalf of the Northern Territory Auditor General.

After moving to Perth and joining Anderson Munro & Wyllie in 2003, his audit focus has been on public companies, co-operatives companies, local government bodies, stock brokers, superannuation funds and not-for-profit entities. Billy-Joe has widespread experience in auditing both Pty Ltd companies and a range of financial services license holders.

Martin Shone

Martin is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Registered Company Auditor. p>

Martin started auditing in Public Practice in 1998 and has worked mainly for mid-tier firms since, initially in the UK and then since 2006 in Perth. During this time he gained extensive experience in the audit of a variety of enterprises from superannuation funds, small businesses and trust accounts to large proprietary, publicly listed companies and not-for-profit entities.


Chris McLaughlin

Chris has a Bachelor of Commerce member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Registered Company Auditor.

Chris has over seven years of experience in Public Practice, starting out with Burges McFarlane & Young Chartered Accountants in Subiaco. During this time he gained extensive experience in the audit of various superannuation funds, not-for-profit entities, trust accounts, and mining companies.

After joining Anderson Munro & Wyllie in 2003, his audit focus has been on schools, real estate agents, not-for-profit entities and superannuation funds. Chris has extensive experience in auditing various types of small and medium sized organisations.


Lize Louwrens

about Lize


Lize has a Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree and Specialisation in Auditing certification. She is a full member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She has been a chartered accountant for more than 9 years and has more than 11 years experience in Public Practice.

Lize has over 5 years experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Africa, of which one year was spent as part of the forensic investigation services team. Her audit experience includes everything from sole practices to various large listed corporations like Johnson and Johnson reporting under IFRS.

She also had her own accounting and tax services business for two years in South Africa before moving to Australia permanently with her family in 2009.

Lize has over five years of Australian auditing experience in a wide range of industries, including listed mining companies, not-for-profit entities, Australian financial services companies, schools, real estate, solicitors and settlement agent trust accounts, government organisations, local councils and superannuation funds.


Seraaj Pillai    about Seraaj


Seraaj has a Bachelor of Commerce and has over 11 years experience in public practice, including both audit and tax compliance.

Seraaj started out with KPMG in Zimbabwe but has also worked at Ascent Business Directions in New Zealand and Burges McFarlane and Young in Subiaco. He also has worked as a Financial Controller for a listed manufacturing and retailing entity.

Seraaj's audit experience includes listed, unlisted and not-for-profit entities in the mining, manufacturing, retail, hospitality and service industries as well as superannuation funds.
